Lot’s happening for our showjumping members and friends from now until the end of summer. Competitions, training days and twilight jumping.

  • Showjumping Judges Clinic –  Sunday 23rd October at Berry Public School with International Judge Mrs Jan Golding. Starting at 9:00am, $25 for the day. Bring along the rule book if you have one.  Jan, a retired school principal has been a rider, a competitor, a trainer, a breeder and a coach and is in demand to judge at the major events around the countryside. This clinic is suitable for pony club mums to those wishing to sit their accreditation exams.
  • Saturday 5th November Showjumping Competition – enter on Global. Ribbons to 5th. Qualified course builder. Heights range from x-rails for the absolute beginner to 1.20m. Open to BRC members and EA members.
  • Saturday 19th November: Presentation Night. Rugs awarded to the winners of our yearly pointscore for heights 60cm & under, 90cm & under, 1.10 & under and 1.20m and up,  plus rosettes awarded for those who have jumped a double clear in their events. Also a magnificent trophy for the Champion Showjumper of the Year.
  • Saturday 3rd December Showjumping Competition & Geriatric Cup. Not yet on Global but mark the date in your diary. The Geriatric Cup is for riders over 35 keen to have a bit of fun jumping 45cm. Geriatrics start practising now!
  • Pink Ribbon Horse Festival – rescheduled for Sunday 18th December at Berry Showground. Clear round training day for horses jumping 90cm and higher. $12 / horse.  An excellent practice day before the show season starts.
  • Twilight Jumping starts in January. We need input from members as to when to hold our twilight jumping. Please email back your thoughts on whether twilight jumping should be held mid week or on Sunday afternoon. Looking forward to receiving your emails.
