The Pointscore for the dressage competition is tallied by placings in each competition to 6th place for Members (ie. 1st place = 6 points, 2nd place = 5 points, 3rd place = 4 points etc.). There is a pointscore for each dressage level, from Preliminary to Advanced. At the end of the year the Horse and Rider with the most points in each level is awarded a rug. There are also prizes for Reserve Horse and Rider who receive the second highest points.

Berry Riding Club also has the Gold, Silver and Bronze Merit award scheme.

To be eligible for a GOLD award, the Horse and Rider combination must have scored 65% and above at three SEPARATE BRC Dressage training days or competitions.

To be eligible for a SILVER award, the Horse and Rider combination must have scored 60% and above at three SEPARATE BRC Dressage training days or competitions.

To be eligible for a BRONZE award, the Horse and Rider combination must have scored 55% and above at three SEPARATE BRC Dressage training days or competitions.

Final pointscores will be published after presentation night.
