STARTING OUT IN DRESSAGE
Dressage is simply another word for “training”. By providing an independent discipline, it is possible to grade training so that progress may be monitored and that training starts with the basics and builds gradually on them as the horse and rider become more proficient. Before you commence training, it is important to understand the horse’s basic paces and just what is considered “correct” so that you have a base line from which to work.
