Do you have a spare couple of hours Wednesday and/or Thursday morning and want to join a group of friendly, horse loving adults riding around?
then…… the “Galloping Grown-Ups” group is for you.
Each Wednesday & Thursday the GG Group will meet at the Berry Sporting Complex Equestrian area, North St Berry. Bookings are essential otherwise you may arrive and find the grounds locked.

Wednesday: Julee Jones 4464 1565
Thursday: Each Thursday morning & evening the grounds will be opened for the training of horses. Bookings for Thursday morning taken by Nola 0409 446 418 (text message) . Thursday evening (during the months of daylight savings ) – book in with Judy Sweeney 0410 506 143 (text message only for this phone number). Riders must book in before the grounds will be opened.
Is there a minimum number of riders on each day?
Yes – for safety reasons there must be a minimum of 2 riders for the grounds to be open. The Co-ordinator will let you know if another person will be riding.
Can I have a lesson with my coach at the grounds?
Yes – as long as your coach is a qualified EA Coach. Each co-ordinator will ask to see proof of their qualifications.
Is there a cost involved?
Yes – $5 per rider each day the grounds are used by the rider.
Do I have to be a member of Berry Riding Club to go to GG days?
Yes – These days are events conducted by Berry Riding Club. All riders must be members of our club to participate. To find out about club membership go to our Membership tab. It is here that you’ll learn about the type of insurance coverage offered by BRC and also how to join.
How long will the GG Group be there?
The grounds will be open between 8.30am and 1.30pm
The Future:
If there is enough interest it is hoped that coaches can be arranged to give lessons to the riders. Trail rides will be introduced. Any activity that the GG group would like to take part in can be organised.
In the meantime, come along and enjoy riding together. The Berry Sporting Complex equestrian area is there for all equestrians to use. Let’s make good use of this ground.
