Stage 1 of the construction works of the Berry Equestrian Centre located just south of Berry, off Schofields Lane, is nearly finished and everyone in the Berry Riding Club is super excited. The Equestrian Centre is the new home for Riding Club members and we can’t wait to hop on our horses and start riding in organised competitions, development clinics, derby days and social get-togethers on horseback.
Beautiful flat riding arenas, a spectator shed and a storage shed to house training and competition equipment are all part of the development, however the bad news is … no toilets. Unfortunately the budget didn’t extend that far. Obviously we need toilets and we’re asking the community for help.
The Berry Hotel is devoting their once-a-month Community Trivia Night to Berry Riding Club to help raise funds, so please come along and spend a penny … so we can spend a penny! The Berry Riding Club needs to raise $8,000 to purchase wheelchair accessible port-a-loos.
