Once again we’re holding a Pink Ribbon Fun-khana as a fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. This year our fun-khana will be held at our club grounds, Schofields Lane Berry on Sunday 15th May. Uniform for the day – Pink! Pink! Pink! Please find attached the program, the entry form, a waiver form and an event membership form. To participate in our fun-khana riders must be members of either BRC or the EA. BRC is offering an “event membership” for non-members of BRC.
Our program is nearly the same as 2015 except this year riders can choose to, either jump the show jumps or our mobile x/country fences or a mixture of both. Our mobile x/country fences start at 40cm ranging in height to 85cm. If you intend to try the x/country fences you must wear a back protector. If you’re unsure of which brand to buy, consider purchasing a “Vipa” back protector as worn by jockeys in the racing industry .
Our Fun-khana has lots of classes for everyone, whether you’re very young or young-at-heart, a beginner or a more advanced rider you’re most welcome to join in the fun. Entries close: Friday 6th May 2016
We’re very proud to say that, to date, BRC has donated $17,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Thanks for supporting this worthy cause.
P.S. More Pink Ribbon photos from 2015 can be found on our Facebook page.
