On Sunday 5 March we’re having a X/country Derby Day suitable for horses and riders wanting to have a go at riding a mini x/country course.
About our X/Course
- The course will begin out of a starting box.
- It’s 1200m (1.2 klms) long. Riders may ride the course a maximum of 3 times, either at the same height or different heights.
- Heights to choose from – 50cm, 60cm & 80cm.
- 12 x/country jumps in each height class.
- To be ridden to optimum time. However, beginner riders are allowed to trot the course if they wish.
- Course will be uploaded to the Cross Country App.
The aim of our X/country Derby is to prepare horse & rider for Eventing without the added stress of also competing in Dressage & Show jumping on the same day. Give our Derby a go. It’s fun.
