Expressions of Interest Open for National Integrity Committee
Equestrian Australia (EA) is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from appropriately skilled and qualified personnel to establish a National Integrity Committee as a proactive measure to take a lead on integrity matters for the sport.

EA’s New National Rules for Para-Dressage
Equestrian Australia is pleased to announce the release of its first dedicated national rule book for Para Dressage.
The new EA Para-Dressage Rule Book aligns with the FEI’s 2023 Rules for Para Dressage.
The new rules will take effect from the 1st of July 2023.
2023 FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses
Equestrian Australia’s World Young Horse Selection Policy for the 2023 FEI WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses to be held in Ermelo (NED) on the 3rd – 6th August 2023, has now been released.
EOI for FEI Driving World Championships 2023
Equestrian Australia High Performance is calling for Expressions of Interest for Drivers wishing to represent Australia at the following FEI Driving World Championships:
- Combined Ponies (Single, Pairs and Four-In-Hand) – Oirschot (NED) on 30 August – 03 September 2023
- Horse Pairs – Le Pin au Haras (FRA) on 27 September – 01 October 2023
Let’s embrace #genderequity with Ginger Kennett
March is known internationally as Gender Equality Month and this year’s theme – to embrace #genderequity – calls on everyone to do their part to improve gender equality.
In this edition, 20 year-old Ginger Kennett from Australia talks about the support she has received from her immediate and extended family during her career. An international vaulter from Picton, New South Wales, Ginger is also an eventer and a student at the National Art School in Sydney.

March Coach of the Month – Andrew Barnett
Andrew Barnett is a professional rider, NCAS Level 2 Showjumping and Eventing Coach and Coach Educator. He was a Grand Prix showjumper before making a successful conversion to Eventing.
The Level 2 coach from Werakata Farm in the Hunter Valley, NSW has been selected as the Equestrian Australia Coach of the Month for March.
We caught up with Andrew to ask him about his coaching journey.

FEI General and Endurance Veterinarians Course in Sydney
An FEI Veterinary Course hosted by Equestrian Australia was held in Sydney on the 11th – 13th March.
Attended by 21 equine veterinarians from all over Australia as well as NZL, USA, RSA and THA, the courses were held over three days and was a mix of extremely valuable discussion sessions, case-based scenarios, interactive videos, and traditional lectures.
