Our annual PINK FUNKHANA is on again!
Join us for our 14th Annual Pink Funkhana! This year our Funkhana will be a club fundraiser to raise money for our amenities and facilities. A percentage of our profit will also be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. To date we have donated $33,000 to this Foundation.
Dress yourselves and your horses in pink, and join us for a day of horse fun in a fantastic environment.
We welcome all levels of horses and riders. English, stock horse & western saddlery permitted. One rider per horse, and one horse per rider.
EVENT DETAILS
Sunday 4th June 2023 – Berry Equestrian Centre – 50 Schofields Lane Berry
Cost: $45 for BRC/EA members (includes ground fee and $5 non-refundable admin fee) per entry. Riders who are not members of BRC/EA will require BRC Event Membership ($20).
If you are entering a family, select “Add another horse/class” to enter the details of additional rider(s)/horse(s). The second and subsequent rider(s) will be eligible for a family discount when entries are completed on the one Nominate entry.
Entries close: Please Check Nominate for available spaces .Some riders can’ t come as the postponements have landed on dates they are not available. (No late entries accepted.)
WHAT’S ON OFFER
Hacking Rings: Riders on the Lead, Walk & Trot Only Riders, Novice Riders & Open Riders. Ribbons to 4th. Champion Rosettes & Reserve Champion sashes.
Ring classes include best handler, best rider, best decorated in pink, pleasure horse, best educated, bareback, pairs and parent & child pairs. For beginners, extra novelty classes will be on the program.
Age groups will be decided after close of entries to spread entries evenly.
Clear Round Showjumping: starting at x/rails and finishing at 90cm.
Start Time: 9:30am but this may change depending upon the number of entries received.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Riders must be members of BRC or EA to participate in this event. For this event, BRC Event membership is available $20 / rider.
Classes will be run as per program / schedule.
Program / schedule will be emailed to riders once finalised (after entries have closed).
Maximum of 2 rounds of showjumping per horse. Riders can ride the same height twice or elect to ride two different heights.
Riders must wear an EA approved & tagged helmet. For local riders helmet tagging can be arranged prior to the event.
