Boyd Exell narrowly misses out on FEI Driving Word Cup Final win.
After the closest fought FEI Driving World Cup™ Final for some years, Boyd Exell (AUS) has finished in second place by only 0.83 seconds.
Coach of the Month
Leanne Williams
Leanne Williams is a Level 3 Dressage Specialist and EA Coach Educator, who lives in the beautiful hills of Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges. She was nominated and proudly accepted EA’s Coach of the Month for January 2024 and told us that the recognition has got her new year off to a great start.
Navigators/Backsteppers
The EA Driving Committee have developed an education resource to assist in addressing some important points to assist Navigator/Backsteppers to have a greater understanding of the role they play, skill development, horse welfare and understanding of the national rules.
Competing at FEI level
If you are planning to compete at FEI level in 2024 there are a number of things that need to be in place, including current FEI Athlete and Horse Registrations and Horse Passports and FEI Recognition Cards (where appropriate). Lead times apply.

Incident Reporting
EA’s incident report Form 08 is mandatory to report all incidents, that occur at an EA affiliated equestrian activity and must be completed within 24hrs. Find more information and fact sheets at the link below

FEI Officials 2024 – Competency-Based Evaluation System
As of 18 December 2023, the 2024 FEI CES Assessments will be accessible.
To officiate at events taking place after 31 March 2024, Officials must have passed the CES Assessment.
