I hope this report finds you well. As we approach the exciting milestones of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, I want to take a moment to update you on recent successes of our athletes competing at home and overseas on the path to Paris. 

Boyd Exell wins at Royal Windsor Horse Show

Boyd Exell’s four-in-hand team delivered a thrilling performance to secure our Aussie champion his thirteenth win at Royal Windsor Horse Show

Elizabeth Booth has devoted much time and passion training to become an EA Level 1 General Coach and contributed to equestrian sport in many areas over a period of 25 years. Equestrian Australia congratulates Liz for being nominated by Equestrian Tasmania for Coach of the Month for May 2024.  .

Teams announced for the Future Champions in Hagen (GER)  

Equestrian Australia Selectors have announced the teams for the Future Champions in Hagen (GER) which will run from the 11-16 June 2024. 

Stars shine at Sydney CDI

We saw four days of fantastic Dressage action this month at Sydney International Equestrian Centre with the SYDNEY CDI – International Dressage Event enthralling spectators.nnounced 

Competing at FEI level

If you are planning to compete at FEI level in 2024 there are a number of things that need to be in place, including current FEI Athlete and Horse Registrations and Horse Passports and FEI Recognition Cards (where appropriate). Lead times apply.

Rome CHIO Nations Cup 

The Australian team, representing us in the Nations Cup event overnight, has come in ninth out of a ten nation start list at the beautiful Piazza di Siena venue in Rome. It was tough going for the Aussies who represented us well, in what was one of the last chances for combinations to impress selectors prior to the Paris Olympics at the end of July.

Incident Reporting

EA’s incident report Form 08 is mandatory to report all incidents, that occur at an EA affiliated equestrian activity and must be completed within 24hrs. Find more information and fact sheets at the link below
