First I would like to thank you for all the feedback and questions raised following our recent video chat on EA’s Digital Transformation Project. There was a lot of positive commentary about the need for this project.
Paris here we come!
The three Olympic disciplines of Dressage, Eventing and Jumping will take centre stage in the beautiful gardens of the Palace of Versailles from 26 July to 6 August and the Para-Dressage from 3-7 September in the same location.

Ginger Kennett
Ginger Kennett has just ticked off another goal after competing at CHIO Aachen earlier this month and the excitement is only building as she starts her 2024 FEI Vaulting World Championship for Seniors campaign tomorrow in Bern, Switzerland.

Julia Weir is a proud South Australian and became an accredited EFA (Equestrian Federation of Australia, now Equestrian Australia) Level One General Coach in 1997.
2025 FEI Event
Calendar Applications
FEI Calendar Applications for 2025 are now open. If you wish to hold an International (FEI) event during 2025, you will need to fill out the application form and return it by 5pm Thursday August 1st 2024.
Safety Data Collection
The Form 08 system is proving effective in recording the number and type of safety incidents occurring in our various disciplines – outside of Eventing we have not had a way of relating it to the amount of activity occurring.
Volunteers of the Month, July 2024 – Dwaine and Tracy Hose
This month we would like to celebrate two Queensland volunteers, Dwain and Tracy Hose, and showcase their work with horses and the special rewards of volunteering.
AIS Mental Fitness Program
Equestrian Australia are delighted tha Para-Dressage athletes Maddison Cooke and Zoe Vorenas have been included in the 2024 program as ambassadors.

The 2024 Equissage National Amateur Owner Rider (AOR) Dressage Championships will be held 21/22 September at Boneo Park, Vic.

2024 Equestrian Australia Concussion Protocol Update for Coaches
Equestrian Australia has adopted the AIS Australian Concussion Guidelines for Youth and Community Sport effective March 2024.
Community Officiating Essential Skills course
Sport Australia has launched a free, online course to help community Officials across the country deliver world-class, fun and inclusive sporting experiences for everyone.
