Dear Members, I hope the past month has been a great one for you, both in and out of the saddle.
We are pleased to welcome Michelle Clough to the EA Sport Operations Team as our Coach Development Officer. Michelle brings over 20 years experience in sports development, having worked extensively in equestrian pathways and programs in the UK.
In High Performance, we wish Mary Hanna (Dressage) and Ginger Kennett (Vaulting) the very best as they represent Australia at the FEI World Cup Finals in Basel, Switzerland. Their dedication and talent continue to inspire us all, and we look forward to cheering them on as they compete on the world stage.
As we transition into the cooler months, it is the perfect time to embrace all that our sport has to offer and whether you are competing, training, or simply spending time with your horses, we hope you enjoy the season ahead.

Spotlight on Multi-Discipline Clubs
Jimboomba Equine Carriage Club (JECC) is affiliated with Equestrian Australia and now located in Crestmead in QLD and is primarily a club for drivers of all ages and abilities with horses and ponies of all sizes and breeds.

Thank you Geoff Sinclair
Geoff Sinclair has recently stepped down after seven years as Chair of the FEI Risk Management Steering Group. Under his leadership, the group made significant progress in enhancing rider safety and reducing horse falls, particularly serious and rotational falls, during cross country events.
JUMPING
Billy Raymont takes out 2024/25 Australian World Cup League
The 2024/25 FEI Jumping World Cup Australian League is now complete and we congratulate Billy Raymont on taking out the series and with his primary World Cup horse, Caprino, taking out the Golden Grand.
VAULTING
Wishing Ginger Kennett the best for World Cup
After a great year of competition in 2024, Australian Vaulter Ginger Kennett is now over in Europe preparing for the Vaulting World Cup in Basel, Switzerland from 2 – 6 April 2025
PARA DRESSAGE
Para Dressage National Squad Camp
In February Equestrian Australia’s national para dressage squad kicked off the Los Angeles 2028 four-year cycle with an off-horse camp in Melbourne.
