- 2000 in the training squad for Sydney Olympics
- 2008 Assistant Coach for the Eventing Team at the Beijing Olympics
- 2008 completed a Masters of Education Studies (sports Coaching) from Sydney University
- 2012, 2015 & 2017 Coach of Australian Trans Tasman Young Rider team
- 2017 Equestrian Coach of the Year
- 2017 Equestrian NSW High Performance Coach of the Year
- 2019 Coach Australian Oceania Senior Team
No doubt about it Sam is a very talented rider and coach.
